Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience required.
• Six years of housekeeping management experience in a healthcare account required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data.
• General business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• High customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department.
• Coordinate tasks of Assistant Directors and Operations Managers.
• Serve as liaison between administration and hospital departments.
• Manage department financial data and statistics.
• Monitor unit expenditures and develop operating budgets.
• Coordinate housekeeping with other departments.
• Communicate with administration and hospital departments.
• Establish work standards, policies, and procedures.
• Mentor staff and encourage innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
