The Assistant Director for Education Abroad assists the Director and Associate Director in the oversight of daily operations in the Office of Education Abroad, exchange and affiliate program student advising, new exchange, affiliate, and hybrid program development and implementation, updating and implementing pre-departure and re-entry orientations for students, contributing to the unit’s risk management, expanding the number and variety of students participating in study abroad opportunities, campus outreach and training. Summary of Position
Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and one year of professional experience working in a study abroad office; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Master’s degree in International Education, Higher Education, or related field. Four years of professional experience working in the field of education abroad. One year of supervisory experience in international higher education.
