Job summary

Purdue University is seeking an Assistant Director of Need Analysis, Central Processing, and Appeals to lead a team of experienced financial aid professionals and manage daily operations of need analysis, central processing and verification processes, as well as professional judgment appeals.

The role also coordinates system analysis and programming, conducts annual reviews of upgrades, and provides training to staff to ensure accurate, consistent, and efficient processing in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience as an administrator or program administrator within an administrative setting.
• Interpersonal communication with diverse students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong tech skills, familiarity with software and Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for need analysis, central processing, and appeals.
• Coordinate system analysis and testing for upgrades.
• Advise students, families, and other stakeholders on financial aid matters.
• Provide training to divisional staff on related processes.
• Support outreach events and strategic planning within the division.
