Children's Aid is seeking an Assistant Director of Facilities to oversee projects across our portfolio of 40+ sites in New York City. You will coordinate renovations, repairs, and new site buildouts while partnering with program leadership, compliance, IT, and finance to meet strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities/Construction/Engineering/Architecture/Business or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• 10+ years in facilities management, construction, capital projects, or building operations.
• 7+ years reviewing construction drawings, architectural plans, and contract documents.
• 5+ years managing construction projects, contractors, vendors, and budgets.
• 5+ years developing and monitoring budgets of $2M+.

Responsibilities

• Promote mission, vision, and core values in policies and procedures.
• Manage medium to large facilities projects from renovations to new site buildouts.
• Assess operational needs with program leadership to plan scopes and priorities.
• Develop plans, schedules, budgets, dashboards, and risk management.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Review drawings, bids, and contracts; support procurement and vendor selection.
• Oversee budgets and ensure adherence to approved funding.
• Ensure construction safety, schedule, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and close-out records.
• Collaborate with facilities, IT, compliance, and finance to align priorities.
