Job summary

Children's Aid Society is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to lead large-scale projects across our New York City campuses. You will partner with program leadership and staff to define scope, schedule, and budgets, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a decade of facilities experience, OSHA 30, and a track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget. A proactive, collaborative leader will thrive as part of our cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of facilities management experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years reviewing construction drawings, architectural plans, and contract documents.
• Minimum of five (5) years managing construction projects, contractors, and vendors.
• Minimum of five (5) years budgeting $2M+ projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium- and large-scale facilities projects across the portfolio, including renovations and new site buildouts.
• Coordinate project meetings with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, bid packages, and proposals; support bidding and vendor selection.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, value engineering, and expenditures to stay within budgets.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and close-out records.
