Join our community and experience Emerson College! The Assistant Director of Enrollment Technology plays a critical role in supporting and advancing the institution’s enrollment systems, with a primary focus on optimizing and maintaining the Slate CRM platform. The Assistant Director partners closely with Admission, Financial Aid, and Marketing to enhance operational efficiency, improve user experience, and support data‑driven decision‑making throughout the enrollment lifecycle.
Serves as a lead for Slate CRM, overseeing system configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization to support enrollment operations. Responsible for building and maintaining queries, reports, dashboards, and datasets, as well as developing and managing communication plans, applicant portals, forms, and event registration workflows. Configures and troubleshoots rules, imports, exports, and data integrations while ensuring overall system integrity through regular audits, testing, and thorough documentation. Plays a key role in training and documentation by developing training materials and leading onboarding sessions for new users. Promotes best practices and standardization across departments while maintaining clear, comprehensive, and accessible system documentation. In close collaboration with campus partners, the Assistant Director works with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Marketing teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions within Slate CRM. Qualifications are deemed required or preferred and represent what is needed to effectively perform job. Bachelor’s degree required in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field required 3-5 years of hands‑on experience with Slate CRM at an advanced user level required.
Strong expertise in building queries, rules, forms, portals, and communications within the platform, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. High level of technical expertise and systems thinking. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Effective communicator who can collaborate across functional teams while demonstrating initiative and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Compensation: $28.25 - $34.70 hourly, commensurate with experience. Grade of Position: 23-07NE Employment Category: Regular . Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.25.
