EY is seeking an Assistant Director - Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities. You will partner with leaders to set technical direction, deliver modern data platforms and create measurable business value across global teams.

You’ll lead AI/analytics initiatives using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, cloud platforms and emerging AI technologies, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring teams and ensuring secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related tech discipline.
8–12 years of progressive experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
Proven technical leadership guiding architecture and design decisions.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, modeling, testing and production support.
Experience leading or coordinating onshore and offshore delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives from design to production support.
Guide architecture decisions to meet security, scalability and reliability requirements.
Lead multi-disciplinary design, development, testing and deployment workstreams.
Review data pipelines and analytics solutions for performance and maintainability.
Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance and quality controls.
Coach team members and promote engineering best practices.
Communicate risks and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Coordinate onshore and offshore transitions and handoffs.
