Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director – Data Engineering & Analytics Platforms to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities. You will partner with business leaders, architects and engineering teams to set technical direction, deliver modern data platforms and develop solutions that create measurable business value.

You’ll lead the design and delivery of advanced data and AI solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, cloud platforms and emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related tech discipline.
• 8–12 years of progressive data engineering or analytics delivery experience.
• Experience guiding architecture and solution-design decisions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives.
• Guide architecture and solution-design to meet security, scalability and operational needs.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing and deployment.
• Review data pipelines, platform integrations and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
• Manage risks, dependencies and delivery timelines with governance and quality controls.
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen engineering practices.
