Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to help ensure the safe, high-quality operation of our childcare center in Michigan. You will work alongside the School Director to support the social, physical, and intellectual development of children.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, engaging environment, recruiting and retaining staff, and promoting the organization’s safety vision. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and commitment to families we serve.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Support social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
