Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director takes sole responsibility for the school and supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.

The role emphasizes accountable leadership, fostering a caring environment, and promoting the company’s image as a provider of choice in the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision.
• In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Accountable! Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Responsible! Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for the children and parents.
• Creative! Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day.
