Job summary

Learning Care is hiring an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school and helps promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Our team values accountability, responsibility, creativity, and a positive, team-oriented culture. You will recruit, select, and retain quality staff while ensuring compliance with licensing standards

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Ensure compliance with company and state licensing standards and contribute to profitability.
