Job summary

Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Assistant Director for the Academic Resource Center to lead coaching workflow management, oversee MySuccess operations, and supervise Peer Academic Learning Specialists and graduate students.

The role drives data reporting, program assessment, and outreach to students on academic probation, while coordinating ARC study tables and faculty partnerships to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field.
• 1-3 years of related experience plus supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of student development and learning theory.
• Experience with technology-based case management or student success systems.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report student success data.
• Ability to work with a broad range of campus stakeholders.
• Leadership and training capability.
• Strong organizational skills for supervising a large team.

Responsibilities

• Lead MySuccess workflow coordination and case management.
• Check coaching referrals, assign appointments, and maintain the MySuccess database.
• Coordinate ARC responses to referrals and support probation students.
• Assist in delivering MARQ 1030: Strategies for College Success.
• Develop peer education initiatives and supervise PALS.
• Hire, train, and supervise ARC student employees.
• Oversee ARC study tables and evaluate peer education initiatives.
• Lead assessment and reporting using MySuccess data.
• Develop campaigns promoting academic coaching for probation students.
• Support day-to-day ARC operations and align with CRLA standards.
• Teach workshops on time management and study skills.
• Maintain the academic coaching website.
