Job summary

Marquette University seeks an Assistant Director for the Academic Resource Center to lead coaching operations, oversee peer learning programs, and drive data-driven improvements in student success initiatives. The role supervises PALS/ARC staff and graduate students, ensuring high-quality coaching and programming.

The position focuses on coordinating MySuccess workflows, developing campaigns for probationary students, and maintaining ARC operations aligned with CRLA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years’ related experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Knowledge of student development and learning theory.
• Understanding of challenges for students on probation/high-need populations.
• Experience with technology-based case management or student success systems.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report student success data.
• Proven programming and training ability; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ARC operations and supervise ARC staff.
• Manage MySuccess coaching workflow and referrals.
• Develop, implement, and assess peer education initiatives and study tables.
• Lead assessment and data reporting of coaching services.
• Create communication campaigns to promote academic coaching services.
