Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Office of Development and Alumni Engagement seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement to build lifelong connections between alumni and the university. You will oversee broad engagement programs, reunions, regional events, and signature initiatives, while aligning school and institution-wide strategies and recognition efforts.

The role emphasizes strategic engagement, event planning, communications, and relationship-building, with hybrid work and evening/weekend event

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
Six years of related professional experience required.
Experience in higher education, alumni relations, or nonprofit setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead alumni engagement strategies and programs that foster lifelong relationships with UTHealth Houston.
Develop and execute institution-wide and school-specific alumni events, programs, and volunteer opportunities.
Coordinate institution-wide alumni awards, recognition programs, and related engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with school-based and university partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful outreach and engagement.
