Job summary

UTHealth Houston’s Office of Development and Alumni Engagement seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement to lead programs that strengthen lifelong connections with the university. You will oversee alumni events, awards, and engagement strategies across UTHealth Houston and its schools.

The role requires coordination with multiple partners, hybrid work, and availability for evening/weekend events as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Six (6) years of related professional experience are required.
• Experience in higher education, alumni relations, or nonprofit settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead alumni engagement strategies and programs aligned with goals.
• Develop and execute institution-wide and school-specific events and volunteer opportunities.
• Coordinate alumni awards, recognition programs, and related initiatives.
• Collaborate with university partners to align outreach and engagement.
