Job summary

Police Athletic League seeks a Part Time Assistant Director for Goldie Maple Academy - Middle School. The role oversees afterschool programming, supports mental health and inclusion, and partners with NYPD, DYCD, and DOH to expand youth opportunities.

Qualifications include 2+ years with youth, an associate's degree or NYS credential, and strong communication. Flexible schedule with day, evening, and weekend responsibilities is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or NYS credential with 2+ years working with youth under 13.
• Ability to manage afterschool programming and staff supervision.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster SEL and mental health support within afterschool programming.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise part-time staff and activity specialists.
• Coordinate with PAL leadership and community partners to expand programming.
• Plan citywide programs, events, and ensure compliance with SACC regulations.
