Washington University in St. Louis is seeking an Assistant Director for the Center for Race, Equity and Epquity (CRE2) to provide operational leadership and administrative management for the Center’s programs, initiatives, and strategic priorities.

The role reports to the Senior Associate Director and ensures effective coordination of programs, partnerships, and academic initiatives, including graduate fellowships and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience.
• 3–5 years in higher education, nonprofit, or cultural institutions.
• Familiarity with grants administration and fundraising systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others on the team.
• Commitment to high professional ethical standards and equity.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate reporting and stewardship for funded projects.
• Support budget planning and program development.
• Oversee graduate and faculty fellowship programming.
• Manage administrative systems and internal workflows.
• Collaborate with leadership on outreach and partnerships.
