Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead and coach Product Sales Specialists. You will ensure customers receive excellent service and receive accurate product information while maintaining organized departments and upholding company standards.

The role requires high school education, at least one year in customer service or sales, and strong communication skills to drive the company philosophy and retail basics across the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service/sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Present 'how-to' classes to customers.
• Communicate inventory needs to management.
• Stock and tag merchandise displays as required.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and organization of the department.
