Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot in Milford, MA is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to assist the Deli Manager in keeping product ready for sale with freshness under HACCP guidelines.

You will lead a team, ensure inventory accuracy, and deliver friendly customer service while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the deli area and warehouse. This full-time hourly position features 8-10 hour shifts with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and train team members.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to manage warehouse operations effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Warehouse, retail and/or customer service experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with handheld scanners, desktops and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Ensure available product is out for sale and freshness per HACCP guidelines.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service with sincerity and respect.
• Communicate with customers and respond to questions promptly.
• Operate equipment per company and OSHA guidelines.
• Follow product handling procedures and Always Fresh mentality.
• Assist with product presentation, rotation, labeling and replenishment.
• Maintain in-stock position and monitor inventory with cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of warehouse equipment and operational execution.
• Support department manager with interviewing, hiring and scheduling.
• Adhere to laws and safety guidelines; report issues and safeguard assets.
• Assist in other areas as needed and push for teamwork.
