Qualifications

• Previous experience in produce, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations (required).
• Strong understanding of product handling, rotation, and stock management (required).
• Ability to identify product quality issues and maintain freshness standards (required).
• Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills (required).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools (required).

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the produce department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation.
• Ensure all produce is handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and support department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and operational standards.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays to maintain an organized and appealing department.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
