Job summary

The Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence at the Kaiser Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine (KPSOM) serves as a key leader in advancing inclusive excellence strategies in alignment with the schools mission, vision, and values.

The Assistant Dean will oversee the development and implementation of programs, policies, and practices that foster an inclusive and supportive environment and expand access and opportunity across the school.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years leading inclusive excellence programs in medical or higher education.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of inclusive excellence programs and policies.
• Lead partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance access and opportunity.
• Establish metrics to measure impact and guide program improvement.
• Ensure alignment with accreditation standards related to inclusive excellence.
• Support student success pathways and mentorship initiatives.
