Position: Assistant Cook

We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Living Community.

The schedule for this culinary role includes:

1. 32 hours every two weeks
2. Evening shift
3. Two weekday shifts and every other Saturday and Sunday
4. Partial benefits: https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits (paid time off, retirement contributions, college funds)
5. Partial cash-out wages before payday with our new benefit of early wage access

Responsibilities:

• Food preparation, setup, serving, and delivery
• Handle and prepare food safely, following infection control and safety policies
• Sanitize equipment and work area after each use
• Assist with supervision of department staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to use technology such as computers, handheld devices, cell phones, fax machines
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• High-volume cooking experience in a similar environment
• One to three years related experience
• ServSafe certification
