Position: Assistant Cook

We are seeking an Assistant Cook to join our team. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Living Community.

Schedule and Benefits

• 32 hours every two weeks
• Evening shift, including two weekday shifts and every other Saturday and Sunday

Responsibilities

• Food preparation, setup, serving, and delivery
• Handle and prepare food safely, following infection control and safety policies
• Sanitize equipment and work areas after each use
• Assist with supervision of department staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to use technology such as computers, handheld devices, cell phones, fax machines
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• High-volume cooking experience in a similar environment
• One to three years of related experience
• ServSafe certification
