Job summary

PopStroke Entertainment Group seeks an experienced Assistant Controller to manage financial reporting, closes, and controls across multiple venues. You will report to the Controller and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Auditors to build a scalable accounting foundation as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, multi-location preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Strong GAAP understanding and corporate accounting principles.
• Experience with audits and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports with accuracy and insights.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and inventory accounting across locations.
• Assist with payroll accruals and ensure accurate GL integration.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
