Joseph’s Classic Market in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to lead the day-to-day accounting function and support the CFO. This hands-on role requires technical strength, organization, and the ability to manage complex accounting tasks.

You will supervise month-end close, GL reconciliations, cash management, AP/AR, and audit support, while mentoring the accounting team and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations.
• Experience with cash management, AP, AR, accruals, and intercompany accounting.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
• Oversee general ledger and reconciliations.
• Manage daily cash accounting and cash reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR processes and aging reviews.
• Provide accounting team leadership and mentorship.
• Support audits, tax, CPA requests, and compliance.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis.
