Job summary

Infinity Global, Inc. in High Point, NC is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the monthly close, oversee accounting operations, and strengthen internal controls.

The role partners with the Controller and cross-functional leaders to drive process improvements and scalable finance functions. The ideal candidate has a CPA (preferred), 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong Excel and NetSuite skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of supervision or people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience leading or participating in month-end close processes.
• High proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables etc.).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience improving processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of multi-currency transactions.
• Experience managing and developing accounting professionals.
• Experience participating in system implementations, integrations, or automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and annual close processes ensuring accurate reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses for compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and manage audit requests.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Supervise and coach accounting staff fostering accountability.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Support system implementations and automation initiatives.
• Partner with FP&A to provide financial insights for decisions.
• Assist the Controller with ad hoc requests and special projects.
