Job summary

Infinity Global, Inc. in High Point, NC is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead the monthly close, oversee accounting operations, and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience improving processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Knowledge of multi-currency transactions.
• Experience managing and developing accounting professionals.
• Experience participating in system implementations, integrations, or automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Controller is a key member of the accounting leadership team and is responsible for supporting the integrity of the Company’s financial reporting and accounting operations. This role will lead the monthly close process, oversee day-to-day accounting activities, manage audit and compliance requirements, and supervise accounting staff. The Assistant Controller will partner closely with the Controller and cross-functional leaders to drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and assist in enhancing the efficiency and scalability of the finance function.

In addition to technical accounting expertise, this position requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coaching, and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and building effective relationships across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who combines strong technical knowledge with the ability to motivate others, influence positive change, and support the professional growth of the accounting team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the monthly and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses, ensuring compliance with accounting guidance and best practice.
