Job summary

Infinity Global is seeking an Assistant Controller in Greensboro, NC to lead the monthly close and oversee accounting operations. You will drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and coordinate external audits while mentoring the accounting team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, and hands-on leadership to optimize finance scalability in a luxury-brand oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience leading or participating in month-end close processes.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses, ensuring compliance with accounting guidance and best practice.
• Coordinate the annual external audit and manage audit requests, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support system implementations and automation initiatives across the accounting organization.
• Partner with business leaders and FP&A to support operational decision-making through financial insights and analysis.
• Support the Controller with ad-hoc requests or special projects.
