Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant accounting/financial experience required.
• Experience in the Higher Education industry is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in experience and training.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform Assistant Controller functions as part of the client’s accounting services team and manage these functions for clients.
• Act as a consultant and advisor to clients on best practices for accounting and finance engagements.
• Provide project management by managing multiple clients, work, and deadlines.
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements and make recommendations.
• Foster and build opportunities for clients, communities, and people.
• Attend industry-leading events and training as an industry professional.
• Maintain knowledge of client policies, federal/state directives, and current accounting standards.
