Flagshipinc seeks an Assistant Controller to lead the corporate accounting team and steer month-end close, intercompany, fixed assets, and internal controls in a high-growth US multi-state environment.

The role supports an ongoing ERP implementation, strengthens financial processes, and partners with cross-functional leaders to drive accuracy, timeliness, and strategic outcomes for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field; CPA or equivalent designation.
• 10+ years of accounting and management experience in a high-growth multi-state organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and SOX; proficient with ERP implementations and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate accounting activities including month-end close, cash, fixed assets, intercompany, general ledger, and related accruals.
• Own the general ledger and prepare monthly working papers and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Establish and maintain corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls compliant with US GAAP and laws/regulations.
• Assist in managing external auditors and ensure documentation for audits and reviews is complete.
• Lead ERP migration/implementation projects and cross-functional process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support strategic initiatives and stakeholder alignment.
• Mentor and develop finance team members into trusted business partners.
