SRG Residential in San Diego, CA is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support a 540-unit property, The Reserve at 4s Ranch. The role requires 3+ years of property management experience and strong communication, math, and independent-work skills.

You will handle rent collections, training, and scheduling while maintaining standards in a dynamic community. Salary ranges from $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, with full benefits including 401(k), medical, dental, and vacation accrual.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related property management experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of property operations software: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Assumes supervisory responsibilities in the Community Manager's absence.
• Assist in training and scheduling of the team.
• Review rent recommendations and identify opportunities to maximize income.
• Collect current and delinquent rent; initiate timely legal action when required.
• Review move-in/move-out files for accuracy and timely entry in the system.
• Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports with the property manager.
