Job summary

Houston Apartment Foundation is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in effectively operating the assigned property and maintaining daily reports including rents and deposits. When the manager is absent, you will assume responsibilities to achieve property objectives as directed by the supervisor and owner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
• Maintain resident records and update rents, deposits, and fees daily.
• Deposit all monies prior to bank close each day.
• Inspect property and coordinate move-ins/move-outs with maintenance.
• Greet prospective clients, show property, and perform leasing duties.
• Respond to phone calls from residents, vendors, and prospects.
• Monitor local market conditions and contribute marketing ideas.
• Prepare and update reports on move-outs, activity, and leases.
• Process move-ins/move-outs and service requests.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 40 hours per week, may include holidays or weekends; overtime requires approval.
