Job summary

Pioneer Village in Glendale, CA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily property operations. You will handle resident files, marketing for vacancies, and processing housing applications, while assisting with banking, reporting, and Yardi data entry.

The role emphasizes budgeting, customer service, and teamwork with maintenance to ensure occupancy and a safe, well-maintained community.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent.
Minimum 1–2 years of property management experience.
Minimum 1 year in an administrative role.
Understanding and budgeting knowledge.
Minimum 1 year in a customer service environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Basic bookkeeping and math principles.

Responsibilities

Maintain resident files in line with Compliance and Property Management policies.
Assist in marketing and advertising for vacancies per Fair Housing Plan.
Assist in maintaining property waiting list and processing housing applications.
Post resident payments and manage banking activities.
Help prepare month-end reports and maintain Yardi entries.
Support Community Manager with work orders, supplies, and budgeting.
Show available units and assist residents with requests.
Ensure 100% occupancy and a clean, safe community.
