Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Summit at the Villages of Waco Apartments. You will assist the Community Manager with daily operations, leasing, maintenance, and financial functions to optimize cash flow and compliance.

Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling accounts, and supervising staff while ensuring Fair Housing and safety guidelines are followed. This is a full-time on-site role with evolving responsibilities and a focus on resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use onsite software functions.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments from applicants and current residents accurately and promptly.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor delinquencies.
• Assist in maintaining budgeted revenues/expenses and NOI targets.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files for accuracy.
• Walk units, post move-out charges, and issue refunds as needed.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines.
