Job summary

ConAm Management Corporation is seeking a Business Manager (Assistant Community Manager) for our Alamo/Simi Valley property in California. This on-site, full-time role combines on-site accounting and leasing responsibilities, with coverage when the Community Manager is absent.

You will manage finances, oversee leasing processes, maintain resident files, and support marketing efforts to sustain high occupancy.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of conventional / luxury property management experience.
• Experience with leasing, financial reporting, and resident services.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Yardi and MRI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations including AP/AR and rent processing.
• Assist Community Manager with budgeting, reports, and cost control.
• Oversee leasing from inquiries to move-ins.
• Maintain resident files and ensure policy compliance.
• Support marketing to fill vacancies.
• Ensure high occupancy through tours and applications.
• Handle resident relations and resolve concerns.
• Prepare move-in/move-out records and documentation.
• Assist with organizing resident events.
• Act as person-in-charge when Community Manager is absent.
