Job summary

Valiant Residential in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager who supports the Community Manager and covers responsibilities in their absence. You will help with leasing, marketing, and resident relations, and manage daily financial records and data entry in Yardi.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and weekend availability; apartment management experience is preferred and a positive, professional presentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and auto insurance.
• Apartment management experience preferred.
• Ability to work most weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing advertising materials.
• Assist in showing units and screening applicants.
• Maintain records of rental levels of comparable units in the surrounding area.
• Present creative leasing and marketing ideas.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and representatives of other companies.
• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit in accordance with procedures.
• Update availability report and process applications for approvals.
• Assist in monitoring renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to the Community Manager.
