Job summary

Hawthorne at the Mill in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations from leasing and resident relations to rent collection and renewals. You will work closely with the Community Manager to lead a cohesive team and ensure a welcoming, well-run community that aligns with Hawthorne Residential Partners’ Live It culture.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, with two years of property management experience preferred and CALP or a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of property management experience preferred; six months as assistant manager preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CALP accreditation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist leasing by conducting tours and guiding prospects through the leasing process.
• Manage rent collection, check scanning, and payment posting.
• Support Community Manager with financial reporting and documentation.
• Respond to resident concerns and deescalate issues professionally.
• Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager.
