Job summary

FirstService Residential in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Assistant Community Association Manager to support the Community Association Manager with leases, admin tasks, and resident relations in Lakeshore East.

You will organize files, manage leases via Connect, prepare board packets, and help generate reports while ensuring prompt service to residents and contractors. Experience in community management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Community Association Manager license in Illinois.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
• Experience in community management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain homeowner and admin files; perform annual cleanouts.
• Manage and process all leases within the building via Connect.
• Provide high level service to residents, vendors, staff, and colleagues.
• Assemble Board Packets professionally and timely.
• Update association and management reports as directed by the Community Manager.
• Coordinate moves, deliveries, and contractor access; collect fees and insurance docs.
• Distribute monthly newsletters and upload documents to Connect and the website.
• Address resident disputes and foster positive relations with management.
