Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community.

The role requires strong communication, professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and 6 months of property management experience. AMC offers career advancement, competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide customer service and sales approach to resident requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips and move-outs.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals; enter data into management software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and deposits.
• Ensure model apartments are ready and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, and market conditions.
• Maintain contact with apartment locators and local businesses.
• Conduct outreach marketing and develop resident retention programs.
• Report unusual circumstances and maintain professional conduct.
