Job summary

Sares Regis Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for a 384-unit community in Austin, TX. The role covers supervision of staff, rent collection, and daily operations at Museo and Channings Mark.

Requirements include at least 2 years of property management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word. A valid driver's license is needed; weekends/overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related property management experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to perform basic math for discounts, percentages, and GL coding.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• supervise Community Manager duties in their absence.
• train and schedule team members; monitor work times.
• collect rent and pursue delinquent accounts per policy; initiate legal actions as needed.
• verify move-in/move-out files and enter data into property software.
• prepare weekly and monthly financial reports; assist with variance reporting.
• mediate resident conflicts and communicate resolutions.
• follow company handbooks, policies, and governing documents.
