Related Affordable is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support two affordable housing communities in St. Charles, MD. You will work with the Community Manager to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and handle leasing, administration, and compliance tasks.

You will coordinate with maintenance, manage accounts, and help complete certifications while promoting a resident-centered experience. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits, including health, retirement

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC) and compliance requirements.
• Experience with property management software (RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing leasing activities, marketing efforts, resident recertifications, and general administrative duties.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, aid in rent collection, and help manage delinquencies.
• Address resident concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive living environment.
• Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements and support audits.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely property upkeep and safety.
• Assist in preparing reports to monitor community performance and identify improvements.
