Related Affordable in Springfield, MA is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of our affordable housing community. You will work with the Community Manager to ensure a welcoming environment for residents and handle administrative tasks, resident relations, and compliance with affordable housing regulations.

You will assist in leasing, payments, and reporting, coordinate with maintenance, and help organize resident appreciation events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs and compliance requirements.
• Experience with property management software: RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with confidentiality and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leasing, marketing, resident recertifications and general admin duties.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquencies.
• Address resident concerns promptly and organize resident appreciation events.
• Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements and support audits.
• Collaborate with maintenance for timely property upkeep and safety.
• Prepare reports to monitor community performance and identify improvements.
