Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager’s supervision. You will focus on delinquency management and rent collection to optimize cash flow and ensure compliance with company policies.

As an onsite leader, you will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and administration, and support budgeting and risk management to deliver outstanding resident service and property

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years in housing industry, or one to two years related experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income accurately for applicants, current residents, and non-current residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily all account receivables.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt, including late notices, resident and guarantor contact, and evictions.
• Help the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting of all charges to resident and non-current resident accounts; including bill back of utilities.
• End-of-the-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organized records; audit resident files for accuracy.
• Walk units and post move-out charges, statements, and security deposit refunds.
