Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for a Lease-Up community in San Marcos, CA. The role supports the Community Manager with financial operations, reporting, invoicing, rent collection, and daily property management tasks.

The position requires 1-3 years of residential property management experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Yardi/OneSite/Entrata. Weekend availability and on-site work are expected, with a housing discount offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.

Responsibilities

• Collects and posts rent, fees, and other payments; prepares daily deposits and reconciliations; generates financial reports.
• Operates Yardi/OneSite/Entrata and ensures data integrity in the system.
• Reviews resident files to identify delinquencies and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews and submits vendor invoices; codes charges to the Chart of Accounts; coordinates with owner and accounting.
