Madison Reed Hair Color Bar in California is seeking an Assistant Colorist who will support Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead, ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure while you learn the services and progress toward becoming a Licensed Colorist.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in California.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving and people skills in fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, styling, blowouts, and color application per guest request.
• Help meet monthly sales goals through retail and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security.
• Learn Madison Reed systems and procedures to support colorists.
