Job summary

The UPS Store 7171 is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to help run daily operations of the Fort Lee, NJ location. The role supports the Center Manager in achieving targets, supervising staff, and delivering world-class customer service while monitoring costs and contributing to weekly/monthly franchise reports.

Print and design services experience is a plus. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in retail operations, strong leadership and computer skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of retail store operations experience
• Strong supervisory/leadership skills
• Excellent computer/internet/software knowledge
• Physical ability to perform the job (lifting, bending, etc.)
• Dynamic personality; ability to motivate a team and help attain targets
• Willingness to listen, follow, lead and support Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with personnel management: recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching
• Schedule work assignments and run staff meetings
• Monitor and maximize customer service delivery and satisfaction
• Assist in developing and implementing store marketing programs
• Help manage Center financials and prepare reports
• Oversee inventory
• Review daily time sheets
• Oversee Center maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Assist in training topics weekly with staff
