Ballast Wax in Strongsville, OH is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to lead on the floor, coach the team, own guest experience, and drive sales. This ACM role offers a clear path to Center Manager and beyond, with a hands-on leadership style and accountability.

You will open and close operations, support POS and guest profiles, onboard new teammates, and partner with Center Manager on daily tasks. Evening and weekend availability are expected, with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a guest-facing role in beauty, spa, retail or hospitality.
• Led or trained a new hire, ran a shift solo, or stepped up when needed.
• Comfortable recommending products and services through education, not hard selling.
• Able to coach others with empathy while maintaining high standards.
• Passion for beauty and wellness, with interest in career growth in the field.
• Evening and weekend availability with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the guest experience on the floor with warmth, professionalism, and consistency.
• Educate guests on Wax Passes, products, and services; drive center KPIs.
• Coach and onboard team members; maintain a welcoming environment.
• Own opening/closing procedures; ensure cleanliness, POS accuracy, and reporting.
