Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to take on daily center operations and lead a dedicated team. In this role you’ll act in the General Manager’s absence, make timely decisions, and ensure customers receive an excellent first impression.

You'll participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University, gain hands-on leadership experience, and have opportunities for advancement. The position offers immediate earning potential with performance-based bonuses and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
