Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily center operations in the absence of the General Manager. You will guide a team to deliver top-notch customer service and drive efficient, safe operations.

Responsibilities include allocating resources, making quick decisions, and coordinating ongoing training through U-Haul University. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus a valid driver’s license and leadership experience, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Drivers license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager's absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
