Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the center and support the General Manager. You will work with an excellent team, learning valuable skills to advance your career in a fast-paced retail environment.

Expect hands-on responsibilities, opportunities for bonuses, and ongoing training through U-Haul University. You will also participate in a program offering immediate benefits and comprehensive customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
